- 1 oz. Crème de Cassis Liquor [#1]
- 2 oz. Dry White Vermouth
- 3 oz. Champagne [#2]
- Lemon Twist
[#2] You can substitute any Sparkling White Wine like Prosecco
In a large wine glass or stemmed goblet, mix the Liquor and the Vermouth. Then add the Sparking Wine and a few small Ice Cubes. Stir briefly. Garnish with a Lemon Twist.
”Crème de Cassis” - A French liquor made from black currents. It's one of the ingredients in the famous Kir Royale.
”Le Bicyclette” - The French version of "The Bicycle" is from Île de Ré, a sunny island off France's Atlantic coast.
”Bicicletta” - The Italian version, uses Compari instead of Crème de Cassis, Dry White Wine instead of Vermouth and Club Soda instead of Champagne.
